Abstract
Description
以下の方法で液晶光学素子を製造した。
実施例1と同様の方法で液晶光学素子1を製造した。ただし、実施例2では、樹脂組成物300の組成を実施例1から変更した。実施例2の樹脂組成物300の組成は、液晶材料90質量%、紫外線硬化性樹脂7質量%、重合開始剤0.7質量%、紫外線吸収剤2.3質量%である。それ以外は、実施例1と同様にして、実施例2の液晶光学素子1を得た。

Claims (10)
- 第1透明基板と、第1透明電極と、凹凸構造とを含む第1透明体と、
第2透明基板と、前記第1透明電極と電気的に対となる第2透明電極とを含み、前記第1透明体に対向する第2透明体と、
前記第1透明体と前記第2透明体との間にあり、液晶と樹脂とを含む液晶含有樹脂層と、
を備え、
前記液晶含有樹脂層は、前記液晶の液滴構造と前記樹脂の網目構造との少なくともいずれか一方を含み、
前記液滴構造の液滴の大きさ及び前記網目構造の網目の大きさの少なくともいずれか一方は、前記第2透明体の近傍よりも前記第1透明体の近傍で大きい、
液晶光学素子。 - 前記液滴構造の液滴及び前記網目構造の網目の少なくともいずれか一方は、前記第1透明体の近傍において、前記凹凸構造の凹部の幅に対応した大きさを有する、
請求項1に記載の液晶光学素子。 - 前記液晶含有樹脂層は、二色性色素を含有する、
請求項1又は2に記載の液晶光学素子。 - 第1透明基板と、第1透明電極と、凹凸構造とを含む第1透明体と、
第2透明基板と、前記第1透明電極と電気的に対となる第2透明電極とを含み、前記第1透明体に対向する第2透明体と、
前記第1透明体と前記第2透明体との間にあり、液晶と樹脂とを含む液晶含有樹脂層と、
を備え、
前記液晶含有樹脂層は、前記液晶を含んで前記樹脂を含まない第1領域と、前記液晶と前記樹脂との両方を含む第2領域とを備え、
前記第1領域は、前記第2領域よりも前記第1透明体の近くにあり、前記凹凸構造を覆っている、
液晶光学素子。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の液晶光学素子の製造方法であって、
前記第1透明体を形成する工程と、
前記第2透明体を形成する工程と、
前記第1透明体と前記第2透明体との間に、液晶材料、紫外線硬化性樹脂、重合開始剤、及び紫外線吸収剤を含有する樹脂組成物を配置する工程と、
前記第2透明体を通して前記樹脂組成物に紫外線を照射する工程と、
を含む、
液晶光学素子の製造方法。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の液晶光学素子の製造方法であって、
前記第1透明体を形成する工程と、
前記第2透明体を形成する工程と、
前記第1透明体と前記第2透明体との間に、液晶材料、紫外線硬化性樹脂、及び重合開始剤を含有する樹脂組成物を配置する工程と、
前記第2透明体を通して前記樹脂組成物に紫外線を照射する工程と、
を含み、
前記樹脂組成物中の前記重合開始剤の体積比率が0.3%以下である、
液晶光学素子の製造方法。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の液晶光学素子の製造方法であって、
前記第1透明体を形成する工程と、
前記第2透明体を形成する工程と、
前記第2透明体の上に重合開始剤を含む層を形成する工程と、
前記第1透明体と前記第2透明体との間に、液晶材料及び紫外線硬化性樹脂を含有する樹脂組成物を配置する工程と、
前記第2透明体を通して前記樹脂組成物に紫外線を照射する工程と、
を含む、
液晶光学素子の製造方法。 - 請求項7に記載の液晶光学素子の製造方法であって、
前記重合開始剤を含む層は、シランカップリング剤を含有する、
液晶光学素子の製造方法。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の液晶光学素子の製造方法であって、
前記第1透明体を形成する工程と、
前記第2透明体を形成する工程と、
前記第1透明体と前記第2透明体との間に、液晶材料、紫外線硬化性樹脂、及び重合開始剤を含有する樹脂組成物を配置する工程と、
前記第2透明体を通して前記樹脂組成物に紫外線を照射する工程と、
を含み、
前記重合開始剤は、前記紫外線硬化性樹脂と非相溶であり、
前記紫外線の照射前の前記樹脂組成物の層は、前記第2透明体側に前記重合開始剤を含む領域を有し、前記第1透明体側に前記樹脂と前記液晶とを含む領域を有する、
液晶光学素子の製造方法。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の液晶光学素子の製造方法であって、
前記第1透明体を形成する工程と、
前記第2透明体を形成する工程と、
前記第1透明体と前記第2透明体との間に、液晶材料、紫外線硬化性樹脂、重合開始剤、及びラジカルトラップ剤を含有する樹脂組成物を配置する工程と、
前記第2透明体を通して前記樹脂組成物に紫外線を照射する工程と、
を含む、
液晶光学素子の製造方法。
