Abstract
Description
次に、図1と図2を参照しながら作用について説明する。
以上のように、実施の形態の液晶表示装置1は、図1と図4との反射光の比較からも分かるように、透明カバー7と光学デバイス(例えばタッチパネル5)とを有する構成でありながら、内部に進入した光の反射光を大幅に削減することができる。図1および図4において、実線の矢印により外に出る反射光を、1点鎖線の矢印により除去される反射光を示している。

- 透明カバーと、
フィルム状の第1位相差作用付き偏光板と、
光を透過させる光学デバイスと、
フィルム状の第2位相差作用付き偏光板と、
液晶部と、
偏光板とが順に配置され、
前記第1位相差作用付き偏光板は、前記透明カバー側から、カバーフィルムと、偏光子層と、透過光の偏光状態を変化させる位相差作用付きのカバーフィルムと、が順に積層されてなり、
前記光学デバイスは、第1位相差作用付き偏光板よりも、透過光に生じる位相差が小さい光学デバイスであり、
前記第2位相差作用付き偏光板は、前記透明カバー側から、透過光の偏光状態を変化させる位相差作用付きのカバーフィルムと、偏光子層と、カバーフィルムと、が順に積層されてなり、
前記第1位相差作用付き偏光板と前記透明カバーとは透明接着層により接着され、
前記第2位相差作用付き偏光板は透明接着層を介して前記液晶部に接着されている、
液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1位相差作用付き偏光板、および、前記第2位相差作用付き偏光板は、前記位相差作用付きのカバーフィルム、前記偏光子層、前記カバーフィルム、および、前記透明接着層が、順番に積層された構成である、
