Abstract
Description
まず、本実施形態の原理について説明する。
本実施例では、活性炭17として、石油ピッチを炭化して得られた比表面積が1200m2/gの粒状活性炭に対し、図3(a)〜(c)の工程を行った。
本実施例では、塩基性化合物の溶液42(図3(b)参照)としてピラジンのメタノール溶液を使用し、疎水化処理においてその溶液中に活性炭17を5時間浸漬した。これ以外の条件については、本実施例は第1実施例と同じである。
本実施例では、塩基性化合物の溶液42(図3(b)参照)としてアンモニア水を使用し、疎水化処理においてそのアンモニア水中に活性炭17を5時間浸漬した。これ以外の条件については、本実施例は第1実施例と同じである。
本実施例では、活性炭17として、フェノール樹脂を炭化して得られた比表面積が1300m2/gの粒状活性炭を使用した。これ以外の条件は、本実施例は第1実施例と同じである。
本実施例では、活性炭17として、フェノール樹脂を炭化して得られた比表面積が1300m2/gの粒状活性炭を使用した。これ以外の条件は、本実施例は第2実施例と同じである。
本実施例では、活性炭17として、フェノール樹脂を炭化して得られた比表面積が1300m2/gの粒状活性炭を使用した。これ以外の条件は、本実施例は第3実施例と同じである。
本願発明者は、本実施形態に従って製造された活性炭の表面状態について評価した。その評価結果について以下に説明する。
Claims (14)
- 酸化剤により活性炭の表面を親水化する工程と、
塩基性化合物の溶液中に前記活性炭を浸す工程と、
を有する吸着剤の製造方法。 - 前記塩基性化合物は窒素を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の吸着剤の製造方法。
- 前記塩基性化合物は、ピリジン、ピラジン、キノリン、インドール、フェナントロリン、及びアンモニアのいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の吸着剤の製造方法。
- 前記酸化剤は、硝酸溶液、硝酸と硫酸との混合溶液、次亜塩素酸ナトリウム水溶液、及び臭素水のいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の吸着剤の製造方法。
- 前記溶液中に前記活性炭を浸す工程は、前記表面を親水化する工程の後に行われることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の吸着剤の製造方法。
- 前記活性炭の前記表面を親水化する工程の前に、真空中で前記活性炭を加熱する工程を更に有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の吸着剤の製造方法。
- 前記活性炭の原料は、フェノール樹脂又は石油ピッチであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の吸着剤の製造方法。
- 表面に複数の塩基性化合物と複数の酸性官能基とが直接又は間接的に結合した活性炭を含む吸着剤。
- 前記酸性官能基は、前記活性炭の前記表面に直接結合し、
前記塩基性化合物は、前記酸性官能基を介して前記表面に間接的に結合していることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の吸着剤。 - 複数の前記酸性官能基のうちの一部が前記塩基性化合物と未結合となっていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の吸着剤。
- 前記塩基性化合物は、ピリジン又はピラジンであることを特徴とする請求項8乃至請求項10のいずれか1項に記載の吸着剤。
- 前記酸性官能基は、カルボキシル基、ラクトン、及びフェノール性水酸基のいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項8乃至請求項11のいずれか1項に記載の吸着剤。
- 前記活性炭は球形であることを特徴とする請求項8乃至請求項12のいずれか1項に記載の吸着剤。
- 酸化剤により活性炭の表面を親水化する工程と、塩基性化合物の溶液中に前記活性炭を浸す工程とを行うことにより製造された吸着剤。
