図1は本発明の実施形態を示す縦断面図であり、図2はその平面図である。これらの図においてWはシールの対象物である角状体であり、この実施形態ではセラミック製のハニカム構造体のセグメントである。前述したように、このハニカム構造体は多孔質の隔壁により区画された多数のガス流通孔を、入側端面と出側端面とで互い違いに目封じした構造を備えたものである。
角状体Wはこのように弾性体チューブ10の内径が拡大された状態で、枠体1の内部に挿入される。なお前記したように、端面板2、3の開口寸法と、製品挿入で枠体内面に吸着拡大された弾性体チューブ10の内寸とは、接触しないように十分な寸法差が設定されているため、挿入される角状体Wにより、弾性体チューブ10が損傷することがない。
(1)ハニカム構造体のような角状体の外周を、製品寸法バラツキがあっても確実にシールすることができる。
(2)シール及びシール解除を迅速に行うことができるので、高速検査にも対応できる。
(3)単一の弾性チューブを用いているので、構造が簡単である。
(4) 弾性チューブが損傷した場合の交換を容易に行うことができる。
Claims (7)
- シール対象物である角状体が挿入される枠体の内周に、角状体の外周長よりも短い内周長を持つ弾性体チューブを配置し、枠体には弾性体チューブの裏面への通気孔を形成するとともにこの通気孔に真空源を接続し、通気孔を通じて弾性体チューブを枠体側に吸着することにより、弾性体チューブの内径を拡大可能としたことを特徴とする角状体のシール装置。
- 枠体の通気孔に真空源と加圧空気源とを接続したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の角状体のシール装置。
- 枠体がその長手方向の両端にそれぞれ開口部付きの端面板を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の角状体のシール装置。
- 弾性体チューブの長手方向の両端部が枠体の両端部で外側に折り返され、折り返し部を端面板により拘束したことを特徴とする請求項3記載の角状体のシール装置。
- 端面板の開口部に、角状体の挿入をガイドする傾斜面を形成したことを特徴とする請求項3記載の角状体のシール装置。
- 枠体の凹部内面に、パンチングメタルが張設されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の角状体のシール装置。
- シール対象物である角状体が、セラミック製のハニカム構造体であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の角状体のシール装置。
