Description
前記生体内留置部材と前記導電性ワイヤとの間に、両者の接触を防止する非導電性のスペーサーが設けられていることを特徴とする。
また、前記接続部材はポリビニルアルコール系樹脂からなるものとすることが好ましい。

図1は、本発明の医療用ワイヤWの一例の構成を示す側面図である。この図に示すように、この医療用ワイヤWは、導電性ワイヤ10と、生体内留置部材18と、導電性ワイヤ10と生体内留置部材18とを接続する接続部材14と、スペーサー24とにより構成されている。
その結果、当該導電性ワイヤ10の電極部12においては、供給された高周波電流によって確実に所期の発熱が生じて接続部材14を加熱して溶断させることができ、これにより、生体内留置部材18を確実に離脱させることができる。
例えば、スペーサーの形状は、中空の筒状であることは必須ではなく、また、接着剤によって接続部材に固定されることも必須のことではない。従って、例えば、接続部材の外周面上に外方に突出する状態で固定されたブロック状のスペーサー、接続部材が挿通された状態で配設され、接着剤によって固定されずに接続部材に遊嵌状態に設けられたリング状のスペーサーや切り欠きを有するリング状、コイル状などの係止型スペーサーを用いることができ、また、電極部または生体内留置部材によって固定または保持された状態のスペーサーであってもよい。さらに、スペーサーの数も限定されるものではなく、複数のスペーサーを用いることができる。
Claims (7)
- 導電性ワイヤと、この導電性ワイヤの先端部に熱可溶性の接続部材を介して接続された生体内留置部材とからなり、導電性ワイヤを介して供給される高周波電流によって前記接続部材が加熱されて溶断することにより前記生体内留置部材を離脱させる医療用ワイヤにおいて、
前記生体内留置部材と前記導電性ワイヤとの間に、両者の接触を防止する非導電性のスペーサーが設けられていることを特徴とする医療用ワイヤ。 - 前記スペーサーは中空構造を有し、その内孔に前記接続部材が挿通された状態で設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用ワイヤ。
- 前記接続部材がポリビニルアルコール系樹脂からなることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の医療用ワイヤ。
- 前記スペーサーは、実質的に水で膨潤しないものであることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載の医療用ワイヤ。
- 前記スペーサーは、熱可塑性または熱硬化性樹脂からなることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項4のいずれかに記載の医療用ワイヤ。
- 前記スペーサーは、硬化された接着剤からなることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項5のいずれかに記載の医療用ワイヤ。
- 前記スペーサーは、ポリビニルアルコール系樹脂からなることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項5のいずれかに記載の医療用ワイヤ。
