上記のように構成された運動用具10の使用方法を以下に記述する。図3は、本発明の運動用具10の使用方法の一例を示した図である。図3に示すように一対のリストバンド部22のグリップ部24が縫い着けられていない側より各々手先50を差し込み、リストバンド部22を手首に装着するとともに、親指と人差し指の間にグリップ部24が置かれるようにしてグリップ部24を握る。この状態で、連結部材20を伸縮させるように力を加えたり、抜いたりする運動を繰り返す。この連結部材20を伸縮させる力の加え方は、両手首を左右に広げたり、前後に広げたり、上下に広げたり、腕を交差させたりする方法がある。また、この運動は、両肘を曲げてやる方法や両肘を伸ばしてやる方法がある。また、両手首の位置を胸の前や肩の高さより上げたり、右にもっていったり左にもっていったり、背中の後ろにもっていったりする方法がある。さらに、この運動は、体の姿勢が立ち上がった状態、座った状態、寝た状態で行う方法がある。

つぎに、本発明の運動用具10の他の使用方法の一例を説明する。たとえば、運動用具10を両足先に装着して行う場合は、前述の両手首に装着する方法と同様に、つま先をリストバンド部22に差し込み、たとえば足の親指と人差し指の間でグリップ部24を把持するとともに、足の土踏まず部分までリストバンド部22を入れて装着する。この状態で、連結部材20を伸縮させるように力を加えたり、抜いたりする運動を繰り返す。この場合も、両手首に装着する場合と同様の様々な運動方法がある。
上述のように、本実施例によれば、運動用具10は、四肢の先端部に装着するために環状を成す一対の環状部としてのリストバント部22に、指の間で把持されるためにそれぞれ一体的に設けられた一対の被把持部としてのグリップ部24が設けられている一対の装着具30と、その一対の装着具30を相互に連結する伸縮可能な弾性材料製の連結部材20とで構成されているので、たとえ高齢者のように握力や四肢の筋力が弱くても装着具30が手先或いは足先から離れるというような支障が出ることがなく、簡単且つ手軽に運動を開始できる。
また、本実施例によれば、連結部材20は、一対のリストバント部22との連結位置がリストバント部22の周方向に移動可能に連結されたものであるので、連結部材20をリストバント部22の周方向に自由に移動させることができるので、運動時の負荷の位置や角度を変えることができ、運動の種類の自由度が高められる。この結果、体の首、肩、後背筋、腕、腹筋、等の筋力強化ができ、生体に体力増進、怪我予防、リハビリ、生活習慣病予防、血行促進などの効果を発生させる。
また、本実施例によれば、連結部材20は、伸縮可能な布帯から成り、一対のリストバント部22の内側を貫通させられるように環状に縫製されたものであるので、ばねを用いる場合に比較して、巻線の間に皮膚がはさまれることが好適に防止される。また、環状に縫製されているので、布帯の長手方向の張力の2倍の負荷を与えることができる。
また、本実施例によれば、リストバンド部22は、伸縮可能な布帯から環状に縫製されたものであるので、縫製された布帯から構成された環状のリストバンド部22は、その伸縮性によって手首或いは足先の部分に大小あったとしてもぴったりと違和感がなくその手首或いは、足先に装着される。
また、本実施例によれば、グリップ部24は、両端部が環状を成すリストバンド部22のうちの互いに離隔する2位置に縫い着けられたものであり、リストバンド部22よりも厚くさらに硬く構成されたものであるので、把持しやすくなり装着具が手先或いは足先から一層離れ難くなる。
また、本実施例によれば、運動用具10を構成する連結部材20、リストバンド部22およびグリップ部24は、合成繊維製編地から縫製されたものであるので、連結部材にばねを用いる場合やリストバンド部にゴム製のものを用いる場合等に比較して、運動中に皮膚に接触したり、手首或いは足先に装着したり、把持したりしても感触がよく、違和感がない。また、装着具が手先或いは足先から離れて体に当たったとしても柔らかいためけがをすることがない。
また、本実施例によれば、運動用具10は、体の姿勢が立ち上がった状態、座った状態、さらに寝た状態でも使用できるので、たとえば病院のベッドの上での運動や、リハビリテーションを目的とした運動に用いことができる。
また、本実施例によれば、運動用具10は、合成繊維製編地から縫製されたものであるので、重量が約100gと軽く装着具30を重ね合わせて押しつぶせばたとえば全長100×高さ100×奥行60mmの大きさとなるので持ち運びが容易であり、設置する必要もないので場所もとらない。また、運動時に音を発生することがないので、静かな場所たとえば病院、図書館等でも使用することができる。
また、本実施例によれば、運動用具10を使った運動は、前述のトレーニングマシーン等を使った運動に比較して自分自身の力を利用する運動なので、自分に適した負荷にするために用具の負荷を調節する必要がなく、また運動途中のいつでも運動を中止することができる。
以上、本発明の一実施例を図面を用いて説明したが、本発明はその他の態様においても適用される。
たとえば、前述の連結部材20は、一つの環状の布帯であったが複数の環状の布帯を鎖状に連結して構成してもよい。
また、前述の連結部材20は、環状の布帯であったが、環状でなく両端があるテープ状のものでもよく、また伸縮性のある素材のものであればよく、たとえばゴム製等のものでもよい。
また、前述の連結部材20は、一対の装着具30を相互に連結すればよく、たとえば一対のグリップ部24を相互に連結してもよい。
また、前述の運動用具10を構成する連結部材20、リストバンド部22およびグリップ部24は、合成繊維製編地であったが、伸縮性をもつ布地であればよいので、たとえば天然繊維製編地、伸縮性のある糸で織られるかまたは伸縮性をもつように加工された天然繊維製または合成繊維製の織物であってもよい。
また、前述のグリップ部24は、袋帯状になっている内部に弾力性のあるスポンジやゴム材を入れたり、合成繊維製編地を複数重ね合わせてもよい。
また、前述の運動用具10を利用した運動は、運動用具10の一方の装着具30を手先に、もう一方を足先に装着して行ってもよい。この場合も、両手首或いは前記両足先に装着する場合と同様の様々な運動方法があり、また同様の効果が得られる。
なお、上述したのはあくまでも本発明の一実施例であり、本発明はその主旨を逸脱しない範囲において種々の変更が加えられ得るものである。

Next, an example of another method of using the exercise device 10 of the present invention will be described.
