Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the adhesion between an electrothermal resistor layer and a base layer, by preparing a composition for forming the electrothermal resistor layer which composition comprises at least a thermoplastic organic substance and/or a thermosetting organic substance, dispersed conductive particles and lecithin. CONSTITUTION:At least a thermoplastic organic substance and/or a thermosetting organic substance, dispersed conductive particles and lecithin are mixed with each other, with the thermoplastic organic substance and/or thermosetting organic substance being at least one substance, to prepare a composition for forming an electrothermal resistor layer. The dispersed conductive particles are preferably particles of carbon black and/or a metallic powder. The content of lecithin is preferably 0.1-3wt.% in solid component ratio, whereby the adhesion between a base layer 3 and the electrothermal resistor layer 2 constituting an electrothermal transfer medium 1 is enhanced. The thermoplastic organic substance or the thermosetting organic substance may be a polyester, an epoxy resin, polyurethane or the like.
