Abstract

PURPOSE:To need no suspension agent and water and provide no absorbing tower of ion exchange resin by providing a waste supply device and a neutralizer agent supply device in a dry distillation furnace composed of a ball filling layer part and a filter chamber part. CONSTITUTION:A dry distillation furnace 11 is composed of a ball filling layer part 1 and a filter chamber part 2. Ceramic made small balls 3 are filled in the filling layer part 1 and heated by a heater 5 from the outside with being agitated by an agitating wing 4 with a drive motor 12. In the other filling layer part 1 a waste solvent supply device composed of a waste solvent tank 14 in which waste solvent is supplied, a quantity pump 10 and a supply pipe 17 which has the branch of an inactive gas purge pipe 13 is provided. Further, in the filling layer 1, an ion exchange resin hopper 8 in which ion exchange resin is supplied, a screw feeder 16, a neutralizer hopper 9 in which neutralizer is supplied, and a neutralizer supply device composed of a supply pipe 19 are provided. Therefore, radioactive waste and neutralizer can separately be supplied in the filling layer part 1 and a process and the like for mixing suspension agent and water with waste solvent is not needed.
