Abstract

PURPOSE: To treat a radioactive waste with safety, by means of storing in a vessel by drying and granulating the radioactive waste liquid.
CONSTITUTION: The radioactive waste liquid in a storing tank 1 is treated by steam by means of supplying to a dryer 4, and is powdered. This dry powder is temporally stored in a hopper 8 by a screw feeder 7. The dried powder reached at a certain quantity is supplied to a stirring granulater 10 by a constant quantity screw feeder 9, and is mixed and stirred with a binder sent from a binder storage tank 13 via a constant quantity measuring device of binder 15, and is granulated. After the guanulation, the granulated powder is pushed out by a centrifugal force and is filled in a temporal stored tank 13 via an introducing tube 18.
