Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a multi-branch hose extremely excellent in strength and sealing property, by a method wherein vulcanization molding of a hard multidirectional pipe and a main body is performed integrally by applying a vulcanizing adhesive agent on an external circumferential surface of the hard multidirectional pipe. CONSTITUTION:A hard tridirectional pipe 1 is prepared and a vulcanizing adhesive agent is applied on an external circumferential surface of the same. A core body is formed by inserting one ends of mandrels 5 into each cylinder hole 12a, 12b, 12c of three cylindrical parts 11a, 11b, 11c. A rubber sheet is wound up round the external circumferential surface of a mandrel part of the core body until a desired thickness is attained. A rubbery sheet 4 where a hole of almost the same diameter as the outside diameter of one cylindrical part 11b of the hard tridirectional pipe 1 has been formed is wound round the external circumferential surface of the hard tridirectional pipe 1. Then the same is wrapped up in cloth. Then a hose body 2 vulcanization molding of which is formed integrally with the hard tridirectional pipe 1 is formed by vulcaniz ing unvulcanized rubber of a molded body and the vulcanizing adhesive agent, and a multi-branch hose is manufactured by pulling out the mandrels 5 through the hard tridirectional pipe 1 and the hose body 2.
