CONSTITUTION:The data of light quantity detected by spectral sensors 71, 72 and 73 is amplified and binarized by amplifiers 71c, 72c and 73c and A/D converters 71d, 72d and 73d respectively and inputted in a CPU 81 through an I/O 84. According to the inputted data, the data with respect to the density of the original is outputted from the CPU 81 to an operation panel control part 85 through the I/O 84 so as to be displayed on an operation panel 86. If an operator sets exposure, the surface potential of a photosensitive body and a developing bias potential, etc., based on the display the excellent color copied image can be formed. Thus, it is unnecessary to perform test copying several times and running cost can be reduced.
