CONSTITUTION:This transferred image forming material is formed by forming the thermally fusible layer contg. the resin (A) having an alicyclic satd. hydrocarbon group and a colored recording layer (B) contg. a photosensitive compsn. successively on a transparent base. The weight average mol. wt. of the resin A is preferably 500-1,000 and the softening point thereof is preferably 70-120 deg.C. The layer B preferably contains a coloring agent enough to impart 0.4 optical transmission density to the material and a binder soluble in an aq. soln. contg. an alkali. Active rays are exposed imagewise to the resulted material and the material is developed by an aq. alkali soln., etc., to form the colored image thereon; thereafter the transferred image is formed on the other image receiving material.
