Abstract

PURPOSE:To suitably judge the trouble of a transmission line and an opponent equipment by increasing the diagnosing time of the diagnosing timer when a buffer share is higher, and at the time of the reverse case, decreasing it, and increasing the diagnosing time when a time-up occurs. CONSTITUTION:In a time-up detecting means 32, the presence and absence of the time-up of a response signal for a requesting signal are removed from the diagnosing time of a diagnosing timer 35, a diagnosing time adjusting means 34 receives a time-up generating signal and adds one second to a present diagnosing time t of the diagnosing timer 35. For 24 hours, the time-up is not executed, the MAX value of the buffer share acquired by a buffer share acquiring means 31 is less than 60%, and then, 0.2 second is decreased. When the buffer share exceeds 80%, the diagnosing time of the diagnosing timer 35 is decreased by 0.5 second. Thus, an optimum diagnosing time is automatically determined.
