Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve handling corresponding to rolling bearings which are formed variously by holding the inner ring and outer ring of a bearing by two support members which are arranged radially and adjustable in radial directions. CONSTITUTION:A holding body which has an inner ring holding part 25 arranged radially about the center of the bearing is moved and adjusted in a radial direction to hold the inner ring of the bearing 34. Similarly, the support member 28 for the outer ring is adjusted in a radial direction to hold the outer ring by an outer ring holding part 30 and then a specific test load is placed by the weight of the support member 28. In this state, when a motor is driven, its driving force is transmitted to the inner ring and the load cell 33 of a detection part 32 detects friction torque through the outer ring. Consequently, rolling bearings of various shape size can be handled and the handling is improved.
