Linear motors 17 composed of a plurality of stators 16 constituting changeover means 15 are arranged to a branching section between the main carrying path 1 and the branching carrying path 2. These each linear motor 17 changes over the thrust of the carriers 8 to the direction A that the thrust of the carriers 8 is pushed toward the branching carrying path 2 side while keeping thrust in the progressive direction and the direction B side that the thrust of the carriers 8 is pushed toward the main carrying path 1 side.
