Abstract

1. Distribution device for individual bags, comprising two set of rollers (6, 7), respectively an inlet set for the band (3) of blanks (4) and an outlet set for the bags (2) in succession one after the other, in which device : - the rollers (8, 9) and (10, 11) of each set (6, 7) have, on the one hand, their axes of rotation which are parallel and define two parallel planes, and on the other hand, have their facing generatrices resting one against the other on either side of the blanks (4), - the peripheral speed of the rollers (8, 9) of the set (6) for the inlet of the blanks is less than that of the rollers (10, 11) of the set (7) for the outlet of the bags (2), this device being characterized in that it also comprises, between the two sets of rollers (6, 7), substantially in alignment with the support areas of the two rollers (8, 9) and (10, 11) of each set (6) and (7) and orientated substantially perpendicularly to each plane defined by the axes of the rollers of each set, an entrainment passage (13) for the band (3) of blanks (4) limited at least on one side by entrainment means consisting of at least one endless belt (14) whereof the side contacting the blanks travels in the direction of forwards movement of the band (3) of blanks (4), which entrainment means (14, 15) are returned at their ends by the rollers (8 and 10 or 9 and 11) which also ensure their forward entrainment and to this end comprise a plurality of grooves (16) provided on their periphery, and in that the grooves (16) of the inlet rollers and outlet rollers have a different depth in such a way that, although on their periphery, the inlet rollers and outlet rollers have differeint circumferential speeds, at the bottom of the groove, these rollers of the inlet set and outlet set have the same circumferential speed.
