Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize the output of an engine by providing a heater tube, a plate member, heating plates, a solar cell arranged on the outer edge of the plate member, a sensor to detect the temperature of the plate member, and a control device to control the current flow between the heating plates and the solar cell depending on the signal from the sensor. CONSTITUTION:A solar cell generates electricity by the sunbeams, and the resultant electricity is applied to heating plates 21. The heating plates 21 generate heat thereby, and the resultant heat is transmitted to a heater tube 15. Since the heat is stored in a regenerative agent 22 during this heat transmission, the heat stored in the regenerative agent 22 is transmitted to the tube 15 as the secondary heat source even though the heat from the high temperature heat source is varied. The heat transmitted to the tube 15 expands an operation medium sealed in an operation space which is formed by linking an expansion space 16 and a compression space, a piston 23 is pushed out, and an engine 10 is started. And the current flow from the solar cell 30 to the heating plates 21 is controlled by a control device 32 which has received the temperature of the plate member 18 from a sensor 31 on the plate member 18 as a signal.
