Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent pick-up rollers from interfering with the replacement, resupply, etc. of sheet materials, by moving the pick-up rollers to be retracted from the top surface of stucked sheet materials when a sheet material feeder is ejected. CONSTITUTION:Pick-up rollers 2 are fixed to the both ends of a shaft 2a and vertically rockably held about a feed roller shaft 3a by a pair of rocking arms 5a, 5b connected through a connecting plate 5c. In the lower part of a sheet feeder 1, a drive motor M for retractively moving the pick-up rollers 2 is disposed and on an output shaft M1 thereof a drive pulley 15 is mounted. The rocking arms 5a, 5b rotate upward about the feed roller shaft 3a through a tube shaft 9 and a connecting member 11, whereby the pick-up rollers 2 move upward retractively from the state that they have abutted against the top sheet material. Therefore, there is no possibility that the pick-up rollers interfere with the replacement, resupply, etc., of sheet materials in the sheet material feeder.
