Abstract

PURPOSE:To protect a tapered section from being drawn out of a joint fitment and make a joint section adequately compact by making the length of the tapered section large by given times of the smallest diameter of the tapered section of a support bar consisting of a tapered section on which a joint fitment is installed. CONSTITUTION:A material of a fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) bar 1 is composed of a bundle of glass fibers solidified integrally with epoxy resin while being arranged in one direction, and the FRP bar 1 is manufactured by lathe processing said epoxy glass drawn bar. Both ends of the FRP drawn bar 1 form tapered sections 1a of truncated cone shape, and other central sections form round bar sections 1b.
