Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent slip down of a work even when the speed of a rotary body is increased, by a method wherein, in a title device, e.g. an industrial robot, an arcuate part is formed along a rotation range of the rotary body so that it is movable forward and backward to and from the rotary body, and during operation of the rotary body, the work is pressed against a guide for fixing. CONSTITUTION:When an work 8 is placed on a rotary body 2, a cylinder block 10B is actuated to move forward a guide body 14. A roller 21 is forced into resilient contact with the end of an arcuate part 14A, and the work 8 is pressed against a guide 9 for fixing by means of a contact part 17A of a press body 17. When the motor 3, in turn, is run, the rotary body 2 is rotated through a drive pulley 4, a belt 7, and a driven pulley 6. During rotation, the roller 21 is rotated in a 180 deg. arc as it is forced into resilient contact with the arcuate part 14A. Since the work 8 is fixed to the three guides 9 by means of the press body 17 irrespective of the magnitude of a rotation speed, the work 8 is prevented from slipping down from the rotary body 2.
