Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a feed additive effective in improving the effect of body weight gain and feed efficiency when fed to mammals, birds, fishes or other animals, by mixing Bacillus subtilis C-3102 with vitamins, minerals, amino acids, etc. CONSTITUTION:Bacillus subtilis C-3102 (FERM BP-1096) is cultured preferably under aerobic condition at an initial pH of the medium of 6-8 and 35-40 deg.C for 12hr - 7 days. The obtained bacterial cells are mixed with feed ingredients such as vitamins, mineral, amino acids, soybean cake and wheat bran to obtain the objective feed additive.
