Abstract

Then, on the basis of a data of ever-changing current position determined, a map previously stored in a microfilm 5 is accessed to perform a display of the present position of the moving object on a screen of a display device 7 where a specified map is projected. Moreover, the data of the current position is stored and held into the non-volatile memory 19 still after an ignition switch is turned OFF.
