Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate fear during a moving time when the image pickup position of a camera is moved by detecting an input signal to indicate a preset position, and sending a preset position signal and a control signal to photograph a distant view/close-range view. CONSTITUTION:For example, a speaker is changed from A to B. At such a time, the input signal to indicate preset positions (a) and (b) is transferred to a preset position detection sending means 6 by the operation of the speaker A or B. The preset position detection sending means 6 receives the signal, detects that the preset position has been switched from the (a) to (b), and sends the signal to set a zoom lens 2 at the position, where the photographing of the distant view is attained, or the means 6 sends the signal, together with the signal to set the zoom lens 2 at the position, where the photographing of the distant view is attained, to set the preset position of the camera at the prescribed position between the (a) and (b). As this result, when the image pickup position of the camera is moved, since the whole view is photographed, the fear during the moving time can be eliminated.
