Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an objective lens driver having a high drive sensitivity and low coil resistance by interlinking an external magnetic flux with plural parts of a flat coil so as to generate a torque in the same direction. CONSTITUTION:In considering one flat coil 8A (8B), the flat coil 22 becomes a magnetic circuit 20 being an open magnetic circuit 7A (7B) at two parts of regions 21A, 21B to interlink with the magnetic flux generated by the circuit 20 to cause torques f1, f2 in the same direction. Thus, the coil is interlinked with the magnetic flux at plural position of the flat coil to generate the torque in the same direction thereby improving the drive sensitivity. Moreover, the coil part receiving magnetism from the magnetic circuit is increased and the coil is utilized effectively, then the resistance of coil is decreased.
