Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce novel physiologically active protein having antitumor activity, by culturing the cells of a microorganism which is transformed with a recombinant plasmid containing DNA coding the novel physiologically active polypeptide. CONSTITUTION:A recombinant plasmid containing the DNA coding a novel physiologically active polypeptide, e.g., pTNF498A, pTNF498B is introduced into a host of a microorganism such as Escherichia coli C600r-m line (ATCC33525) in a known manner. Then, the recombinant cells are cultured in a usual manner to collect a novel antitumor active polypeptide from the cultured cells.
