Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a breaker to be operated by a small spring force stably, by providing a throwing-off delay ratch to prevent the operation of a toggle link device until a spring to drive the toggle link device reaches near the final throwing-off position. CONSTITUTION:On condition that a breaker is thrown in, the recess 53a of a throwing-off delay ratch 53 is geared with a pin 44. In this case, by rotating an operation handle 25 counterclockwise around an axis 25a, an operation lever 32 is enforced to rotate counterclockwise. As a result, a pulling coil spring 47 enforces a pin 44, but the pin 44 cannot move because a recess of a throwing- off delay trigger 53 is geared with the pin 44. When the lever 32 continues the counterclockwise rotation further, and comes near the final position, the gearing part 32a of the lever 32 is geared with a projection 32a, and the ratch 53 is rotated counterclockwise around a pin 38 as the axis. As a result, the engagement of the recess 53a of the ratch 53 and the pin 44 of the toggle link device is released, the pin 44 moves by the pulling force of the spring 47, the lever 39 rotates counterclockwise around a pin 40 as the axis, and the contact of a vacuum switch tube 30 is opened.
