Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance temperature sensing accuracy for obtaining a temperature sensing mechanism with a simple structure and high reliability by utilizing the restoring force of a spring made of a shape-memory alloy and the repulsive force between a superconductor and a magnet, in the temperature sensing mechanism for a valve or the like. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensing driving mechanism for driving a valve 5 comprises a superconductor 1, a magnet 3 being opposite to the superconductor 1, and a spring 2 made of a shape-memory alloy, and it is so arranged that the repulsive force between the superconductor 1 and the magnet 3, and the restoring force of the spring 2 acts in the opposite direction each other. Now, in a low temperature condition, a repulsive force is caused in the superconductor 1 by Meissner effect to push up the valve 5. When temperature rises, first, superconductive state disappears and the repulsive force is lost. When temperature further rises, the spring 2 restores to its original state to drive the valve 5 in the opening direction. On the other hand, when temperature fails, the above repulsive force acts to drive the valve 5 in the closing direction.
