Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at the promotion of long service life in a diaphragm by forming both central and outer diametral circumferential parts of the diaphragm into the required thickness, while also forming the thinnest part between these parts, in case of a blower which feeds, under pressure, a live fish tank or the like with air by means of vibrational motion of the diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:Exciting power out of a commercial power source is fed to an electromagnet made up of fitting a coil C2 in a core C1, whereby a permanent magnet 2R to be faced to a pole face of the electromagnet is reciprocated (vibration), and with this reciprocation, air inhaled in a diaphragm chamber 1R via a diaphragm 21 is discharged upon its pressure rise. In such a blower, a central hole 22 for fitting a center disk CD is formed in a central part of the diaphragm 21, and a bore edge 23 is formed in the peripheral edge. A central circumferential part 24 of the outer circumferential part of this bore edge 23 and an outer diametral circumferential part 26a of the peripheral edge of the diaphragm 21 are formed into each thickness (t1 and t3), and a circumferential surface 25 is formed in curved form at a radius of curvature R, thus the thinnest part in thickness t2 should be set there.
