Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at the promotion of long service life in a diaphragm by forming a central circumferential part of the diaphragm into the required thickness, and also forming the outer edge so as to make the thickness thin toward the outside, in a blower which feeds, under pressure, a live fish tank or the like with air by vibrational motion of the diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:Exciting power is fed to an electromagnet made up of fitting a coil C2 in a core C1 from a commercial power source, whereby a permanent magnet 2R to be opposed to a pole face of the electromagnet is reciprocated (vibrated), and air inhaled in a diaphragm chamber 1R by the motion via a diaphragm 21 is discharged upon its pressure rise. In such a blower, a central hole 22 for fitting a center disk CD is formed in the central part of the diaphragm 21, and a bore edge 23 is formed in the peripheral edge in stepped form. A central circumferential part 24 on which the center disk CD gets hit is formed in an outer circumferential part of this bore edge 23 at thickness t1, then an outer edge of the central circumferential part 24 is shifted to a circumferential surface 25 of thickness t2 by way of a curved part of a radius of curvature R.
