Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the smooth discharge of oil in a motor chamber by installing an oil return hole, returning the oil in the motor chamber to an oil sump, being opened or closed following in operation of a drive shaft and opened at an almost closing area of an inlet valve during one rotation of this drive shaft, in the bottom of the motor chamber. CONSTITUTION:A motor 2 and a compression element 4 are disposed in the inner part of an enclosed casing at upper and lower positions each, while a piston 41 is reciprocated by crank motion of an eccentric shaft part 30 followed in rotation of a drive shaft 3 of the motor 2 and, after a fluid taken out of an inlet valve 12 is compressed, this fluid is discharged out by way of a discharge valve 13 and a discharge pipe 15. In such an enclosed compressor, in the bottom of a motor chamber 7, an oil return hole 20 which is opened or closed by reciprocating motion of the piston 41, and opened at a closing area of the inlet valve 12 during one rotation of the drive shaft 3, is provided thereby returning oil in the motor chamber 7 to an oil sump 16. When the piston 41 reaches a spot proximate to a top dead point, the oil return hole 20 is opened, whereby the oil accumulated in the motor chamber 7 is discharged.
