Abstract
PURPOSE:To aim at such torque variation control that is high in efficiency by performing current-energization to an electric drive device via a phase variable device, and making a turning angle of an output shaft to be free of initial setting, in a device provided with the electric drive device adding torque to the engine output shaft. CONSTITUTION:This controller is provided with a revolving field pole 5 installed in a peripheral part of a flywheel 4 integral with a crankshaft 3, and a field coil 6 and a stator coil 7 provided on both inner and outer circumferences of this field pole. Current-energization is controlled synchronously with a turning angle of the crankshaft 3, whereby torque is given to the crankshaft 3 and thereby an engine torque variation is controlled. In such a device, an inverter which varies the phase of a current energizing the stator coil 7, is provided and at the time of engine starting, current-energization to the stator coil 7 is controlled as varying the phase. At this time, when the torque to be added to the crankshaft 3 becomes the maximum value, the turning angle of the crankshaft 3 is made so as to be initial setting.
