Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily separate an auxiliary booster in a rocket having a separable auxiliary booster by providing a separating device to generate asymmetric pneumatic force to a frame axis of a rocket main body only at the time of separating the auxiliary booster. CONSTITUTION: A rocket main body 1 is separably provided with an auxiliary booster 2 to be symmetric to its frame axis. The auxiliary booster 2 is provided with a separating device 3 having a cross section of a rhomboid form, for example. At this time, at the time of normal flight of the rocket main body 1, that is when the auxiliary booster 2 is not separated, the separating device 3 is stored in the auxiliary booster 2, or a reference surface passing a vertical vertex of the rhomboid form is set to be parallel to a frame axis of the rocket main body 1. At the time of separating the auxiliary booster 2, the reference surface of the separating device is set to generate a specified angle to the frame axis of the rocket main body 1. Pneumatic force perpendicular to flow is thus generated, thereby the rocket main body 1 and the auxiliary booster 2 can be easily separated from each other.
