Abstract
The invention relates to a method for removing dust from particles, the object being to separate the particles from much finer dust attached to the particles. This method consists in creating at least one jet of the particles loaded with the fine dust, aiming this jet at an obstacle (5) at a great enough speed for the fine dust to become detached from the particles under the force of impact, and separating the fine dust and the now dust-free larger particles. Chief applications: removing of dust from alumina particles.
