Abstract

PURPOSE:To certainly prevent jam of a paper delivery device by securing a space for accomodating a curved piece of paper within a course of paper delivery guide equipment. CONSTITUTION:A curved face 21 is provided in a part of a guide face 6 of a paper delivery device of a sorter 2 in such a manner as it meets perpendicularly to the direction of paper movement and projects in the direction of a space opposite to said face 6 in order to slightly hold paper laying along the guide face 6 and prevent its adhesion. In case jam is produced on the sorter side, a retainer board member 22 is separated from the guide face 6 by means of a solenoid 24 to expand the space opposite to the face 6 so that paper may be accomodated in said space and jam on a duplicator side may be prevented.
