Abstract
PURPOSE:To make an electronic component to be measured reach a set temperature exactly in a short time and to conduct accurate measurement irrespective of the number of the electronic component, by a method wherein the electronic component connected to a measuring device is immersed in an inactive liquid and the electric properties thereof are tested in this state. CONSTITUTION:A pot 1 wherein an inactive liquid 2 cooled by a cooling device is made to circulate has a heat-insulating structure the outside of which is covered with a heat- insulating material 3. A socket 5 is fitted on the inside of a cap of the pot 11, and a lead of the socket 5 is led outside through the cap 4 and connected to a measuring device. As for the inactive liquid 2, a substance which does not corrode again electric components, has electrical insulation properties negligible in measurement within the limits of measuring temperature and does not boil and congeal, e.g. flon 11, a fluorine compound, is selected. An electronic component 6 is fitted in the socket 5, the cap 4 is put on the pot 1, and the electronic component 6 is immersed in the inactive liquid 2 subjected to temperature control. When the inactive liquid 2 makes contact with the lead or a heat-radiating plate or the like of the electronic component 6, which has an excellent heat conductivity, even the inside of the electronic component 6 reaches a prescribed temperature in a short time, and the inspection of electric properties is conducted in this state.
