Abstract

PURPOSE:To maintain development quality of high performance by providing a heat insulating chamber to a printing plate feed section before coating of a developing soln. and providing printing plate heaters and temp. detectors in the heat insulating chamber. CONSTITUTION:Heat rollers 140A, 140B in common use as a pair of pinching and conveying rollers are disposed above and below the conveyance path for the printing plate 101 adjacently to a printing plate insertion base 102. The heat insulating chamber 130 housing the heat rollers and the temp. detectors 134A, 134B is constituted. Outside frames 131, 132 and 147, 148 of the heat insulating chamber 130 are provided and heat insulating materials 133 are stuck to the inside thereof as a heat insulating material. The difference between the interior temp. of a chamber where a developing device is installed and the normal developing soln. temp. is observed and the heating temp. to a roll heater 136 is controlled. The execution of the development is thereby enabled without fluctuating the permissible developing condition temp. even in the case of operating the printing plate developing device of a system for coating a small amt. of the developing soln. in the state of the low chamber temp. The development finishing with the high quality is thus enabled.
