Abstract
PURPOSE:To utilize light energy from a light source efficiently by an arrangement wherein a fixing long light source is disposed perpendicular to the running direction of recording paper in a light fixing type thermo sensitive recording device. CONSTITUTION:Thermo sensitive paper drawn from a recording paper roll 1 is heated to have the same pattern as a picture using a recording head 3 (numeral 2 denotes a platen roller) and then cut into the predetermined size by cutters 6, 7. Thereafter, thus cut recording paper is fed while being placed between a rotary glass cylinder 13 including therein a fixing long light source 12 disposed in the axial direction and a feeding belt 11 runs by rollers 8-10. During such feeding, the recording paper is subject to fixing and thus obtained copies are stocked in a copy tray 15 in the inverted state sequentially. In the device with the above arrangement, the recording paper is fed in the circumferential direction of the fixing long light source 12, so that absorptivity of light energy from the long light source 12 by the recording paper becomes high and hence highly efficient fixing can be attained.
