Abstract

PURPOSE:To set a motor quickly in such a condition as will suppress the vibration to be as weak as possible with respect to the target position, by controlling the phase of the resultant magnetomotive force of a plurality of pieces of coil according to the deviation between the present position and the target position. CONSTITUTION:The present position of a rotor is always detected in a high resolving power by a position detecting means 5. A comparison is made between the present position and the target position command by a comparison means 7, and based on its deviation amount (c) an electric angle amount against coils 3 and 4 is computed by an operational electric angle arithmetic means 8. By supplying the electric angle amount as the operating amount to a driving means 10 through a function generating means 9, the phase of the synthetic magnetomotive force of coils 3 and 4 is controlled according to the deviation between the present position and the target position.
