Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress the abnormal vibration of a compressor in the point of time when the output frequency of an inverter approaches to the frequency of a commercial power source, by shortening the operating time of the inverter. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 15 reads out the frequency data of a pattern condition stored in a ROM 17 and controls the frequency (f) of an AC power source outputted from an inverter circuit 10. In this case, when the frequency f of the AC power source outputted from the inverter circuit 10 approaches the frequency f1 or 2f1 of a commercial power source 11, the designated time is to be set shorter than the ordinary one. In this way, the fluctuation of voltage and current in the in- and output side of the inverter circuit 10 can be suppressed and the malfunction of an overload protection circuit of a three-phase motor 12 in a capacity-variable compressor prevented. The abnormal vibration of the capacitor-variable compressor can also be prevented, so that stable inverter control can thereby be implemented.
