Abstract
PURPOSE:To make output voltage equal to set voltage, by compensating for an error between the set voltage and the output voltage of a voltage type PWM inverter main-unit, with the one-period delay of carrier wave voltage for pulse width modulation. CONSTITUTION:From a DC power source 1, current is fed to a voltage type PWM inverter main-unit 11, and average error voltage VE between the output voltage V0 and set voltage Vr is detected by an average error voltage detecting section 13 in every one period of pulse width modulation carrier wave voltage Vc1Vc2, and is retained for one period. The average error voltage VE of output generated from the detecting section 13 is added to the set voltage Vr by an adder 14, and this output voltage VR is pulse-width-modulated by a pulse width modulating section 15, and the output of rectangular wave signals S2A, S2B, S2C, S2D for ON/OFF-driving the switching elements 2A-2D of the inverter main-unit 11 is generated. The leading edge of the rectangular wave signals S2A, S2B, S2C, S2D is delayed with a dead time generating section 16 by a specified time, and is applied to the switching element 2A-2D, as the rectangular wave signals S2A, S2B, S2C, S2D. As a result, the output voltage can be made equal to the set voltage.
