Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the assembling workability and obtain the dirt removing function by pinching and fixing a metal mesh between the end section of the communication section of an intake muffler and the intake port of a valve plate constituting the compressor element. CONSTITUTION:A metal mesh 20 is pinched and fixed by the intake port 15 of a valve plate 14 and the end section of a muffler communication section 12 penetrating a cylinder head 5. The refrigerant gas passes an intake muffler 11 and the communication section 12 from an intake pipe and sucked into a cylinder 18. The metal mesh 20 can thereby prevent dirt from infiltrating into the cylinder 18. Since the metal mesh 20 is pinched and fixed, it can be easily assembled when the muffler is fitted to the cylinder head, and the metal mesh 20 is not required to be processed in a special shape.
