Abstract

PURPOSE:To make use of the primary strength of fibers and manufacture a molded product of superior dynamic properties by combining a plurality of angle-shaped primary molded products to form up an intermediate assembled material, winding carbon fibers around the outer periphery of the material by the filament winding method and molding. CONSTITUTION:A matrix of rectangular hollow section structure is molded by the filament winding method using mainly carbon fibers, and a plurality of angle-shaped primary molded products 3 are manufactured by cutting said matrix. Then, the primary molded products 3 are mounted and fixed tentatively on an outer periphery of a mandrel analogous to a joint 1, and an intermediate assembled material analogous to the joint 1 is constituted of a plurality of said primary molded products 3 only. Subsequently, carbon fibers are wound around the outer periphery of the intermediate assembled material by the filament winding method, and a secondary molded layer 4 is molded to form the shape of the product.
