Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply change the priority order of superposition of respective rectangular areas, their display positions, etc., by inversely displaying an image in each rectangular area unit at the time of successively reading out image information from a memory on the basis of an effective address signal to display plural rectangular areas on a CRT. CONSTITUTION:When address signals indicating the addresses of rectangular areas corresponding to plural address forming parts 1-4 and an active signal indicating whether the scanning position of the CRT is included within the rectangular areas or not are outputted from the address forming parts 1-4, an effective address signal is determined by an address determining pat (constituted of a selecting circuit 5 and a multiplexer 6) on the basis of the active signal and a priority order signal inputted from the external. A data inverting circuit 10 is driven by an instruction signal for instruction whether image information read out from a memory is to be inverted or not and outputted from a corresponding address forming part. Consequently, the superposition of respective windows or their display positions can be simply changed and inversional display of each window can be also executed.
