Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a multiplex broadcasting signal processing device convenient for observation of the newest information when the contents of programs of the multiplex broadcasting are updated by dispolaying the updated program number automatically. CONSTITUTION:When the program No.1 of multiplex broadcasting is detected, the data indicated by the program number and a part of data sent simultaneously with the said data are stored in a storage area 41a of an update detecting memory 41. The stored No.1 data are compared with the data stored in a storage area 42a of an update detecting memory 42. The difference of the data between the areas 41a and 42a indicates that the contents of programs are updated. Consequently, program displaying data corresponding to the program No.1 are read out from a character ROM 39 and held on the corner of a picture for a fixed time.
