CONSTITUTION:When a superconductive material consisting of silver and the oxide of a baser metal than silver is produced, an alloy of silver and the baser metal is prepd. and the baser metal in the alloy is selectively oxidized to obtain the superconductive material contg. the oxide of the baser metal highly dispersed in silver. The oxidation is carried out at a temp. below the m.p. of the alloy in a pressure vessel filled with oxygen or in the air. The ratio between silver and the baser metal is preferably regulated so that the oxide of the baser metal is contained in silver by 10-50vol.%.
