PURPOSE:To enable smooth and speedy clamping and dividing so as to secure high dividing accuracy by performing the clamping of a dividing table by means of a clamp cam and a claw, coupling, and as well turning the dividing table by means of a roller gear cam. CONSTITUTION:When a plate cam 25 and a roller gear cam 34 are turned in company with rotation of a drive shaft 26, the pushing movement of an arm 22 is released by means of the plate cam 25 so that a sleeve 10 is floated up, and further, the movable race 14 of a claw coupling 11 is separated from inner/outer races 12, 13. Next, a roller shaft 32 is turned by means of the cam 34 so that a dividing table 1 is also turned together with the outer race 13. And, when the roller shaft 32 is turned by a predetermined angle and as well the table 1 is turned to a predetermined dividing position, the arm 22 is pushed downward by means of the plate cam 25 and the movable race 14 of the claw coupling 11 is engaged with the inner/outer races 12, 13, and thereat, they are coupled together by the spring force of a clamp spring 27. Therefore, with the aid of cam mechanisms consisting of the roller gear cam 34 and the plate cam 25, the speed-up of accurate and smooth action can be achieved so as to secure high dividing accuracy.
