Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive to shorten the work time required for inserting many probe needles into an insertion hole of a probe needle insertion plate by providing so as to be freely turnable a cell container which has many cells for containing many probe needles and provided with a slide plate on the lower part. CONSTITUTION:A probe needle insertion plate 38 has many probe needle insertion holes corresponding to a hole opening pattern of a plate to be inspected such as a printed circuit board, etc. A cell container 15 is supported so as to be freely turnable by a supporting base 14, provided with many cells 22 for containing many probe needles 42 in the inside, and a slide plate 26 is allowed to abut on the lower part of the cell 22. Also, on the lower part of the cell container 15, a receiving part 31 of the probe needle insertion plate is provided. In this state, the probe needle 42 which is contained with its head part up in the cell 22 is dropped down onto the insertion plate 38 by drawing the slide plate 26 and inserted into the insertion hole. In this case, the probe needle 42 which is left without being inserted into the insertion hole is returned to the cell 22 again by inclining the cell container 15, and subsequently, the returned probe needle 42 is dropped down to the surface of the insertion plate 38 from the cell container 15, and inserted into the insertion hole.
