Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve solderability, and to enable soldering in a short time by disposing sheathing members onto two surfaces as the cut surfaces of a film capacitor element and coloring at least the surface layer sections of the sheathing members to a black system. CONSTITUTION:Evaporated electrodes 2, 3 composed of Al, etc., are shaped onto both surfaces of a dielectric film 1 consisting of a PPS film, and coating dielectric films 4, 5 made up of PPO 6 are formed onto the electrodes 2, 3, thus preparing a double-side evaporated and double-side coated film. The films are laminated, and electrode leading-out sections 6, 7 are shaped for leading out electrodes from the evaporated electrodes 2, 3, thus acquiring a strip capacitor in long size. The strip capacitor is cut in width of 4. 6mm, and thermo-setting sheets called prepreg sheets in which epoxy resin layers 8b are formed onto polyimide films 8a are stuck onto two surfaces as the out surfaces of the cut capacitor. A sheathing member 8 is shaped through heating curing, thus obtaining a laminated film chip capacitor. The sheathing member 8 is colored to the black system of brown-black brown.
