Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the head positioning operation of high reliability by providing a circuit means which can exactly detect a track passing-through pulse even when a noise is overlapped to a position signal. CONSTITUTION:A position signal 1 goes to be a digital signal by a comparator 2. In this signal, there is possibility a glitch is generated to the position of inversion by the noise component of the position signal. A 1/2 servo track signal 4 is generated by obtaining the exclusive OR of the position signals whose phases are different. By causing the glitch to pass through a latch 6 with using the signal of a decoder 5, the glitch can be removed. However, when there is the glitch to be shorter than a latch-up time, a track passing-through pulse string is generated by a one-shot pulse circuit 7, however, the glitch to pass through the latch 6 is remained as it is. Thus, by causing the glitch to pass through a glitch removing circuit 8, the glitch is removed and the exact track passing-through pulse can be obtained.
