Abstract
PURPOSE:To uniformize sensitivity distribution, by shortcircuiting terminals of the first segment group and the second segment group by the third segment group. CONSTITUTION:The first and second conductor rings 10a, 10b are arranged on a common axis, and the first and second segment groups 11, 12 are arranged so that the conductor rings 10a, 10b are brought to a continuity state at the positions mutually symmetric to said axis. The third segment group 13 is pro vided to the conductor ring 10a so as to bring the ends of the segment groups 11, 12 to a continuity state and a resonating condenser 2 is inserted at the position held between the segment groups 11, 12 of the conductor ring 10b. By shortcircuiting the ends of the segment groups 11, 12 by the segment group 13, the edge effect on the side of the conductor ring 10a is reduced to uniformize the distribution of the intensity of the magnetic field generated in a Z-direction of a high frequency magnetic field pulse. By uniformizing the intensity of the generated magnetic field of the high frequency magnetic field pulse, sensitivity distribution can be uniformized.
